The Government Relations role requires a skillful, pragmatic, flexible and a locally sensitive approach, and is of critical importance to the future success of eBay and its growth in Greater China.
Reporting directly to the Asia-Pacific Head of Government Relations, based in Singapore, and working very closely with the Managing Director of Greater China, based in Shanghai, the Director of Government Relations, Greater China, is responsible for providing strategic Government Relations (GR) counsel and program support and implementation for eBay’s expanding business in Greater China. This person will work with national and local governments, industry associations, academia and merchants to shape the policy environment, protect eBay’s reputation and help eBay grow its business in Greater China.
